Nigerians on Twitter have reacted to the statement made by President Buhari about Late Sani Abacha building roads and hospitals.Buhari said that regardless of what anyone thinks about Abacha, it must be remembered that subsequent civilian presidents spent billions on naira in infrastructure yet have had little to show for it.

In 1999 President Olusegun Obasanjo received $625,263,187.19 cash from General Abdulsami Abubakar as part of the recovered Abacha loot.

In 2003, Obsanjo's government recovered about 4billion from Maryam Abacha, as part of the looted funds of Abacha loot.
