Nigerian man celebrates becoming a British citizen (photos) :

A Nigerian man who is based in the United Kingdom has celebrated becoming a British citizen. The man identified simply as Dayo took to Twitter to share photos of his Oath of allegiance certificate. 

The man thanked God for the blessing that was bestowed upon him with the citizenship he received. 

The man who describes himself as the trophy husband, noted that the achievement would open a door to better opportunities. Dayo was all smiles as he posed for the camera with his Oath of allegiance certificate in hand. 

He shared the photos of himself on Twitter rocking a beautiful blue suit. He said: "Today I officially became British.

In the certificate, Dayo swore to be faithful to the Queen of England and her heirs and successors. The certificate also read that Dayo would be loyal to the UK and respect it's rights and freedoms.
